The Latiz Palette Modeling Environment (LPME) is a systems modeling event driven simulation environment. The LPME is written in Java and built on the NetBeans platform. The Java language choice provides many important features such as cross-platform functionality, an object oriented programing environment, and modern graphical user interface (GUI) features. Building on the NetBeans platform greatly simplifies the modularization and scalability of the LPME software. This is an important feature because much of the power of Latiz derives from the fact that users can add functionality to the software by developing new plug-and-play components, called modules.
The LPME is available as a free download and distributed under the GPLv3 license. To learn more about using the LPME, please visit one of the LPME learning trail pages or video tutorials. Latiz Technologies offers support services to assist customers in using the LPME, and development services to produce LPME plugin libraries and presentation layers.
